Ally Westover

In her first semester at Colorado State University (CSU) Ally Westover, 20, has made huge strides in the fashion and music scenes of Fort Collins, Colo. Westover transferred from the renowned songwriting program at Belmont University in Nashville, Tenn. to Pikes Peak Community College for the spring and summer semesters of 2017, and then transferred to CSU in the fall of 2017. Westover is now an Apparel and Merchandising major at CSU with a minor in Sustainability.

The start of Ally's success was her own sustainable fashion blog. Her blog has helped lead her to the exec board of CSU's fashion blog, The Fashion Report, as Co-Social Media and Public Relations Head. The awards from Westover's hard work continued as she now has a job at the boutique Magnolia Moon for sales and social media/public relations in Old Town, Fort Collins.

Ally's fortune has not been limited to her fashion. She has also, found gain in musical career in Fort Collins. Westover recently played live on the radio for the first time at CSU’s radio station, 90.5 KCSU FM Fort Collins. She loved the experience and hopes to play for the college radio station again.

Ally always wants to be sharp in case an opportunity presents itself. She takes being alert very seriously, and to achieve this she makes sure she is properly fueled with healthy and yummy food. Westover loves to cook, and takes a lot pride in her food, which is something she learned from her mom. All the photos were taken in Fort Collins, Colo.
